Managing Employee Performance and Conflict (XHRM 1105)

Increase employee engagement and optimize productivity by applying performance and conflict management strategies!
This course is ideal for new supervisors/managers or those aspiring to move into a management position, it will equip them with the skills they need to manage a team. Students will learn to motivate employees, resolve conflict, and lead change with the goal of increasing employee engagement and driving employee and organizational success.

Indigenous & Intercultural Awareness Program
BCIT has partnered with the Líl̓wat Nation in Mount Currie, BC and the Whistler Institute to bring you a custom Indigenous & Intercultural Awareness Training program. The program is for employers, employees, and individuals in the Sea-to-Sky region to learn about and better understand their Indigenous Líl̓wat neighbours.

- This one-day course is intended to support individuals on their path of reconciliation and help them learn about the history, traditions, and culture of the Lílw̓at7ul Nation.

- This two-day course is intended to assist local employers and their staff to recruit and retain employees from the Lílw̓at7ul Nation and create a welcoming workplace for employees from many cultures. Part 1 is a pre-requisite for Part 2.
