The Whistler Chamber is proud to announce they will be hosting recurring Emergency First Aid training courses throughout the 2023-24 membership year! This one-day course combines first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) content, along with other important emergency skills. Students will learn to prevent, recognize, and prepare for different types of emergencies.
Certification:
Successful completion of this course will result in a 3-year certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR Level C or Health Care Providers (HCP), and AED.
This course is equivalent to OFA 1 and is accepted by WorkSafeBC. It includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Completion Requirements:
Participants must be present for the entirety of the course, participate in skills demonstrations, and pass the written exam with a minimum 75% passing grade.
Facilitator: Whistler First Aid
