This event will take place in the theatre at the Maury Young Arts Centre in Whistler, doors and a cash bar in the gallery will open at 5:15pm. The event will be followed by a ticketed private 4-course dinner at Quattro Restaurant at 8pm to continue the conversation, the dinner ticket option includes entry to the theatre. A guest list of ticket holders will be held at the theatre door, please check-in on arrival. Tickets are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, please let us know and your ticket purchase can be turned into a donation with a charitable tax receipt.

About the Speaker

Paul Evans is Professor Emeritus in the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs at UBC. Author, teacher, media commentator and policy adviser, he has been a principal figure in Canada-Asia relations for 40 years with a primary focus on China and its Asian neighborhood.

He has worked with think tanks, government ministries, and universities across the Asia Pacific region and served as Co-CEO of the Asia Pacific Foundation.
