AWARE’s 2022 AGM and State of Whistler’s Species and Habitats Panel

Join AWARE for their annual general meeting and get updates on local environmental programs, recent accomplishments, and initiatives they are excited to be moving forwards. Members will be asked to vote on 2022 Board Director nominations and after formal AGM proceedings (which will be keep brief) a shift into the main event with a presentation and panel discussion with two long standing nature supporters – Bob Brett and Heather Beresford will take place.

Focusing on the Whistler valley, Bob, Heather and AWARE’s Executive Director Claire Ruddy will discuss local species and habitats, how we impact them, what we can do to protect and restore diversity, and hopes for the future. There will be lots of time for questions so be sure to bring your burning nature queries.
